Climate Change Mexican Wave.

Unless you are guaranteed that hundreds of people will turn up to your flash-mob, it's going to look pretty anti-climactic.
I thought at least 200 people were going to this, kind of glad I just snapped some photos and wasn't participating.




Street photographs when I have time, am too bogged down with research etc to get annoyed when Photoshop decides to shut itself down (yeah that's already happened twice tonight, so forget about it).
Found these, they're so neat, there's a Martin Parr pair too.

I felt so cultured.

Some of the people in some of the galleries I went to on Saturday were total tossers. Should have seen the way these two guys were crowding third place for the Taylor-Wessing Portrait Prize,
don't get me wrong, it's a great image with a great accompanying text - but these guys, jesus.

Here is what I enjoyed on Saturday. It really was quite a nice day out, even if for all the mistakes and confusion and getting lost. Maybe without the threat of rain, days out like these aren't quite so stressful.

Sorry it took so long to get these up, it feels like I've had so many things to do, in actual fact, this is pretty untrue.











Uni has officially started now that I've had my first lecture (which was awful), I have a small four week project on Documentary Practices to do that will be exhibited in Portsmouth Cathedral, exciting.
Have to buckle down I suppose, the project is mainly about space rather than people etc. So we'll see how I do out of my comfort zone.
I have a barn dance this weekend that I will no doubt be expected to photograph, I might use it for the project. We'll see.

Can't wait until this week is over, was woken up an hour before my alarm this morning, next time I'm not moving. Much easier to sleep.
Hope to get back into the swing of things in the next couple of weeks and actually have proper work up on here.

So wet and rubbish today. Eugh.

Things are looking better in frames at the moment.

I think it's a way of making bad things look a bit better.
Here are photographs from today, as you can see there are lots, there must be one in here that would do for the 07/08/09 project, I'm reckoning one of the queues and I can write about how annoying they are. Mind you (to me), they do work as some sort of set, maybe it's due to the continuity of the framing, but it shows the journey a little bit, might look nice in a book.

As you can see I was practicing my street photography today. Still got it, and it's much more fun with the bigger lens.
