Want!

I sat on one of these in Staples today, it was so comfortable, I must have one!

:)

What a delightfully relaxing day.

I have a signed copy of Noah and the Whale's 'First Day of Spring', it's a bit less cheery than their last album, but I haven't given it a detailed listen yet. The film that Charlie Fin wrote to go along with it is quite nice, it's basically a big music video for the whole album, there's very little talking involved, but I'd still recommend it, the scene for 'Love of an Orchestra' is easily my favourite as of yet, and it's probably my favourite song on the album.
I was searching for it because they played it when I saw them last year but it was called something different (If you gotta run), glad I have a proper copy now though.

I Love You, Man also came in the post. It's still up there as one of my favourite films, it's so nice, I don't think I'll ever stop loving Paul Rudd and Jason Segel.
Totesmagoats(!!!)

Moon is at Reading today. Every year I see it on TV, I've never been, but I don't know if I want to. NME Stage looks horribly far away from the crowd.

No art.

Inglourious Basterds was not my cup of tea, I wrote a Lovefilm review for it. It isn't Tarantino's best work and no one should make the mistake of going into it thinking so.

Mesrine:L'ennemi public No1 was pretty decent though, the second half to quite a good pair. I did enjoy the first half a lot more, but I guess it's probably because Mesrine's increasing delusion makes him a much less likeable character than he is in the first half.

I've been a bit bored these past couple of days, with disappointing Lovefilm after disappointing Lovefilm arriving in the post, I'm finding it harder and harder to keep evenings entertaining. Certain friends round here aren't as fun to hang around with as they once were, what with their 'too young' girlfriends and such.
It's still a while until I plan to get back to Portsmouth, but I don't have any money left, it's annoying.

I bought some lush slippers yesterday, that was a highlight, they're like walking on a cloud.

I think I'm going to try and put some work up soon, I might go back to NM at some point where I have access to a scanner, I got my holiday snaps back, the underwater ones turned out pretty nice.

I'm not even going to give rugby a chance.
I can't believe there are people down in Portsmouth already, it's not even September yet...

It's the sound of the poleeeese!

Excuse me but..

..the new Arctic Monkey's album is rubbish.
It all sounds the same and they just lost themselves a fan.
Fact, stated.

Snap happy.

I've filled two Facebook albums nearly.
I don't know if I should copyright them or not, I've heard something about Facebook automatically having the right to your images if you don't. Although it's probably scaremongering, right?

Holiday snaps up tomorrow. x

€10.65

Internets on a boat is expensive, I am on my way back now.
The holiday was lovely and my birthday was awesome.
I went to nice sandy beaches and into the sea many times, the waves were massive yesterday. Waterproof cameras worked out well, can't wait to see the result.

I can't believe I'm 20, it's disgusting.

Pictures some time, there are many.
The house we stayed in was quite lush, but the woman who owned it nicked my birthday cake, yep. Crazy. I got a new one, but it wasn't as delicious (I expect, I don't actually know).

Off for boat foods.

I still love France ♥

Take a good hard look at the motherfucking boat!

I'm on a boat. I saw Portsmouth, I am glad I am not there again for ages. It is wack.

I smell like duty-free perfume until 2pm tomorrow afternoon :(

Holiday tomorrow!

Tomorrow I am off down to Portsmouth to catch a ferry to St Malo.
A week of definite sun, it will be good.
I've bought two waterproof disposable cameras so I can take some nice underwatery beachy photos. Will come back with some nice snapshots hopefully.
It's my first time back to that area for a little over 3 years now, I can't wait, it's wicked.
Although, the ferry is overnight and we have nowhere to sleep, hopefully that will all go ok anyway. I'll just watch HIMYM to pass the time.
May blog from the ferry if possible.
If not, see you in a week.

I love France, fresh bread and cake ♥

Also, it is my birthday whilst we are out there. I'm kind of glad that I don't have to go down the pub this year. I don't enjoy the idea of being 20.

"Out or die"

This is one of the best films I've seen this year.

We got 2for1 for Part two, which is a pretty good way to make us watching, although because it was so good, I would anyway.

I also watched Let The Right One In. It's so romantically haunting.

I finally get to watch Slumdog Millionaire tonight, thank you SLOW Lovefilm. This better be good.

I got quite wasted last night, luckily I didn't have my camera on me.. ho ho ho.

Things are looking better in frames at the moment.

I think it's a way of making bad things look a bit better.
Here are photographs from today, as you can see there are lots, there must be one in here that would do for the 07/08/09 project, I'm reckoning one of the queues and I can write about how annoying they are. Mind you (to me), they do work as some sort of set, maybe it's due to the continuity of the framing, but it shows the journey a little bit, might look nice in a book.

As you can see I was practicing my street photography today. Still got it, and it's much more fun with the bigger lens.
