Tuesday Tabs #30

I missed out on Tuesday Tabs last week due to being super busy with trying to get so much stuff done before leaving for Reading, but I'm back with this week's loves. I'd also like to take the time to thank you for the recent kind comments, I love getting your feedback and knowing that someone's listening. I started my new job today and I'm feeling pretty perky, I think it's the high of being paid more than minimum wage or even being paid at all! The commute is definitely not the worst I've done, but I'll talk to you again if I still have to do it in the winter.

This dress is so nice, and the collar is just adorable. If only it was in the sale for a little longer then I would be able to justify it once I got paid, it would be lovely for work, I might think about picking it up anyway though.

Manatees Keeping It Real, What Party?
I spotted designs from What Party? when I was at the Renegade Craft Fair way back in October and had forgotten about them until they cropped up again recently. I've made sure to bookmark them well and truly, the one is my favourite at the moment but I love all of them, yo!

Edited by Louise Gray at Topshop — Finally Topshop have done a collection I can really sink my teeth into from the quirky contrast shirts to the amazing glittery nail polishes, this is all right up my street and the first time I've felt akin to Topshop in what feels like forever.

Cakes in a Jar — I think I'm going to start saving my jars so I can try some of these out, they look delicious.

A Commitment Made by the Sea from Justin Aaron — I've been spending a little time researching wedding photographing even though the next wedding I'm shooting isn't for a couple of months. Although I complained about it quite a lot during my degree, I do know how important research can be for inspiration and Justin Aaron's images are certainly that.

Christmas Wishlist 001

With only 21 sleeps left until Christmas and the usual barrage of 'what do you wants', I've decided this would be a good place for reference for when I do get asked or if people want to have a look. Despite being quite a selfish person, I also love giving so I'm having my own fun sorting out other people's presents. I don't want to risk buying things for myself with Christmas coming up and I don't want to spend money on myself when I want to buy for other people.

Here are some things I spotted today that I would like, not sure if I will carry it on but now I am unemployed again it's likely I'll be spending more than enough time on my computer looking for jobs/window shopping. I think it might also help out my boyfriend a bit as for some reason he's had a lapse in his own judgement and doesn't trust himself to know me, despite us having 5 successful Christmases under our belts.

I'd basically like some things to keep me warm because I'm a lot colder than normal with the seasonal change, even with cardigans, sweater vests and coats. Brrrr!

Geek Girls Unite — I saw this book in Rough Trade last weekend and it looks like a really good read, maybe I'll try and make it the last book I buy before I get my own place/at least a book shelf, I should get around to reading everything properly too.
52 Photographic Projects — This book looks like a lot of fun and I'm really on the search for some new technical ideas and fun things to do with my camera.

I think when my next loan payment comes in, this is the first thing it's going on, I've sort of casually been on the look out for something like this for a while. It's practical and so beautiful.
How About Orange are doing a giveaway when you write a comment and what bag you want, but I wouldn't know what to say and there are 290 comments so far, so I'll just really consider buying one after Christmas. ♥
