Day 1; Weekend 1; Malden Fortnight.

My first day went off without a hitch, apart from the spelling mistake on my press pass, I really enjoyed it and it got me quite excited. Here are some of my favourites from today, the rest can already be seen on my website. I'm looking forward to shooting some more next weekend.

I hope there are more opportunities to take photographs of children, it was so much fun this afternoon and it might help with another job that I hope to get in August for a company I found through studentgems.com. They said they would definitely be in touch, but I've learnt you definitely can't take someone's word when they say that.

Tomorrow is O2 Wireless and probably the last opportunity I'll have to see Lily Allen live in a while, if her threats to leave music are true. It makes me a bit sad but I completely understand it, I sure do hope she goes out with a bang and performs with Jay-Z. I really hope I get even more tanned tomorrow.
Currently hating how sticky it is by the way, causes me a lot of "post-Glastonbury stress", even though I was filthy there at least I wasn't sticky, eugh.

Blap, finished.

So, I had a tutorial this morning, and changed a few things, my idea seemed to go down well enough so I was happy enough to make a few adjustments and it's not like they took long.
I also finally found a good quality copy of the advert that I was going to use, which is a relief because I'm printing now and the scanned version just wasn't coming up well at all, no one mentioned it in the tutorial, but it was something I was unhappy with anyway.
These are my final images, no more adjustments needed, with just a small amount of my RDB and mounting left to do and an easy target of Monday to get it all done by, I feel pretty good.

Men being men.

"I'll have to be honest and say I'm a bit of breast man!"
The shoot today went quite well, I have a feeling that my final images are within what I took today, I just need to tweak some of them. It was a lot easier than I expected, but boiling hot. I think I took enough time, I just hope that it wasn't too boring for my models really, they did a good job anyway.

My mind has been going 10 to the dozen today, I think it's thanks to a good breakfast.
My dissertation proposal is been looked upon in good favour and I've found lots of journals to help me out, I can't wait to start it properly, even if the thought of 10,000 words is unbelievably daunting. Everything to do with university work is whirling round in my head and it feels amazing to be so interested, even in other people's work, today was a great day.
