Photo A Day April: Day 19-20

You've caught me on the worst days, I've been so super-busy that both of these are terrible cop-outs because I've been so majorly distracted, still... I figured I'd share these with you because it will feel like a rounder number when I come back, yes that's how I do things.
Day 19 — 'Orange'

Here's the orange section of my keyboard, I picked up these decals from eBay after seeing them on The Dainty Squid. It's funny that I didn't see much orange yesterday, and if I did, the 6am wake up and overall excitement probably tired me out so much I just didn't notice. My laptop was on the floor because I was on the verge of some kind of crisis involving where to pack things from my desk, yep.
Day 20 — 'Something you drew'

When I first saw this I thought it would be a great excuse to draw something as I don't draw as much as I should. Sadly, you've just caught me at the wrong time - I said I would be super-busy - and this is the closest thing that's come to drawing something today. I'm such a list-maker, I think it helps my general disposition if it's just physically there. So this is a list of most of the things we'll probably need for our first shop. Not sure what it says about me that a mop and bucket literally take highest priority.

More shopping today and I got the best shoes as well as practically rounding off my 'gift-buying'. Sundays are horrible here, they're far too busy. Although I have really enjoyed my time here so far, and I am still approaching all of our activities with enthusiasm, I can't wait to get home and not have to relish in being indoors due to the heat. I just hope it doesn't start raining and being freezing the second I get off of the plane.

Standing up nearly all the way from point A to point B really is the best.

Maxin' relaxin'.

I learnt today that Sunday is 'the' day in Hong Kong, I thought it was busy before, today was about ten times busier than usual. There were people everywhere, touching me with their sticky skin, I hate bumping in the people generally, but when the weather is like this, it's just gross.

My sister and I had a wander up to Times Square and back to the flat. There isn't much to tell about today because we didn't actually do anything. Sunday also seems to be the day that a lot of Filipino's come to hang out at Causeway Bay, there is a huge food market set up for them outside our apartment and they all sit on the street chatting and making bags, it's quite nice.

In Times Square, because it was so busy and everything there is either designer clothes or electronics, Lucy and I had a break at the Ben & Jerry's stall and tried some of the delicious, unknown to the UK, flavours. I had Clusterfluff (Peanut butter), Sweet Cream and Cookies (Oreo) and Coffee Coffee Coffee Buzz Buzz Buzz (Duh!). I long for the day Clusterfluff is brought over the UK, it's easily become my favourite, even after one try. I wish we had more interesting flavours in the UK, Phish Food just doesn't cut it, especially at the price that it usually is.

We saw a couple doing 'trash the dress' on our way back to the flat, so cool.

Tomorrow I am up early to go to Ocean Park, which I hope won't be too busy. I'm looking forward to the cable car ride and ofcourse, seeing the Giant Pandas. I finally have a working, hand-held fan, so I hope I'll be able to 'take the heat', eep!

I'm quite cross with myself.

I need some time to work on my website too. I hope I'm not too shattered tomorrow.

Feel like I literally haven't stopped since Glastonbury and that my backlog of photographs is so huge it's not even worth blogging about, but I will anyway.
