Hoopla.

My O2 Wireless tickets arrived in the post today.

Along with an apt Vice Guide to Festivals booklet, which is almost no use whatsoever and incredibly against most festivals for some reason, thanks Vice, the photos are nice though, even if they are teeny tiny. That's right, that's me kind of dissing Vice, still haven't read this month's issue though..

I completely feel like this today;

I was so bored, everything on TV is going on about football, and I've still got World Cup fever, just because it's more exciting than watching Big Brother - who cares if it's the last ever series, total good riddance.

I've been loving seeing these billboards and adverts all over recently, I'll take a better photograph of my own when I'm next out and about, they have a massive one of everyone in Dorking at the moment. They're from a wonderful art project call 'Got, got, got, need!', for which artist Elliot Quince has created large 'football card' canvases of the stars of the World Cup 2010. The work is currently being exhibited at The Offside Gallery in Islington and all proceeds are going to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital.

I also came across a neat series today which shows the World Cup stars as vegetables/fruit, it's just for absurd amusement really, but I do admire Park Pea-Sung, Frank Yam-pard is a joke though, there's something really awesome to be done with Wayne Rooney, but that's not for me to work out.

I have re-done my website but there's still stuff to be done, I'm quite proud of what's there at the moment, but I am starting to realise to limitations of Mr Site, despite singing it's praises when I started the site in January.

Chomp.

In order to avoid doing any project work for the rest of the weekend, today's project was cooking. I'm quite proud of myself and in any case, right at this second there isn't much of a point doing any more of my RDB until I have done my shoot, tomorrow.
So I made Jamie Oliver's Steak, Guiness and Cheese pie - which I'm putting up there as one of my great culinary successes.

And I made some 'Cheeseburger Cupcakes' that I found on FoundShit.com. I got the recipe from here, they're pretty simple, but I don't actually really want to eat them now...

I experimented with my flash-cord today to see if I can change the lighting effects for tomorrows shoot with Andy, as I don't really want to lug lots of studio lights home when the only reason I'm doing it at home is because the studio is booked solidly for the next week. I think I could make it look ok, I may take out a tripod.

100.

For my one hundredth post, I thought I would do something good. But I have nothing to show. I haven't picked anything for the Summer project yet and as the idea of an RDB has been abandoned, I'm definitely not doing one for a project that counts for nothing anyway.

I haven't been up to much either, my first proper night out in ages, I over-estimated myself, drank to much and was home by 11. And when I got home, I fell into the bath tub and threw up in the toilet, I still have the bruises.

I also bought a Blackberry, had to deal with 3 customer services, even when I'd officially cancelled my contract with them, he was trying to offer me something else... I was on the phone trying to sort out keeping my number for about an hour. So it was nice when I got onto Orange customer services and a nice English lad answered and sorted me out. Urgh. Never going with 3 again, besides, my Blackberry is far too sexy and far too worth what I'm paying. ♥

I think next week will be better and things will definitely be more exciting when I get back to uni.

At least my house is lovely, even though within 2 days, the oven broke and the light switch in my room busted - making it so I can't turn off the light.
Should start uploading more photographs for here soon.
I have no excuse really, I have my scanner/printer back now and could at least put up the film photos from France.

In other news I am sending off my fox for this project, it's quite neat but she has quite a way to go, anyone reading this who I don't know, it would be cool if you could do it.

Oh dear..

It appears that in the last couple of weeks that I've somehow caught this
I think it's because I have nothing else to do with my time at the moment. It's kind of annoying, I'm just sitting in anticipation for uni to start again. It's kind of boring being together ALL THE TIME, especially when neither of us have any money to do anything.
I've also come to the conclusion that a lot of my friend's round here aren't as enjoyable as they used to be, they haven't moved on and I probably can't make them, maybe I should give L a call... see how Ipswich with a drug addict is treating her.
