Oh Hello.

I've only gone and got a trial-period working with Shoot Experience for a couple of days next week. That is quite nice, because I have been miserable and tired all day. I'm glad that it went well this morning though (which was when Shoot Experience was), they put together the London Street Photography Festival.
They informed me that there is little chance of being taken on afterwards, but it's a tiny part of my foot in some kind of doorway, probably. Despite being completely disgruntled over how early I've needed to get up nearly every day this week, I'm quite looking forward to doing these two days. More than anything it means I have something to do, so I think I'll just try and do the sensible thing and really rest this weekend.

I'm quite excited as I'm most likely to be helping to set up an exhibition on Tuesday, not sure what the rest of the time holds, or if it's only for two days, it may be the whole week. I didn't think that I really brought my A-game to that interview either just because of how tired I've been, but hopefully it will be a different story after the weekend.

Something in my life is happening! It might even mean that the next three months will actually count(!)

Sunset.

The sunset was a beaut tonight, I am all packed up and now using GoogleMaps to perve on where we're staying, it looks so good, right in the centre of Hong Kong by Causeway Bay, lovely stuff. Maybe I'm anticipating the trip slightly more, especially since the Wi-Fi has officially been confirmed, I can stay connected, go me!

I'm leaving for Glastonbury on Tuesday..

... then I'm going to Bodmin to stay at Long's for the day then we're sleeping in the carpark on Tuesday night, unless Moon realises how stupid/pointless it is and that we can just wake up early on Wednesday after a nice sleep.

I'm so excited. I'm planning on - battery permitting - making a video diary this Glastonbury, there are loads on Youtube but most of them are rubbish. I'm going to edit the hell out of mine!

I'm so excited, I have basically packed everything apart from my washbag.

I did my nails yesterday and have coated them in anti-chip 7 day etc stuff so I'm hoping that they'll last the whole thing. I love them so I hope that I won't get bored.

Anyway, I was basically just blogging you to let you know to watch this space.
Basically straight after Glastonbury, I'm covering Malden Fortnight so I hope I can turn everything around quickly. Eeep!

Current possible finals.

At the moment I have two items of clothing from each person, three in two cases. I'm hoping the crit will help narrow down which ones I should have as my final five. I'm going to print them out at around A2 size, which looked pretty decent on a basic print out I did of some of the previous images I have shot.

But overall I'm pretty chuffed with the quality, I just need to spend the rest of the weekend working on the text to go with them because I feel that it's pretty important to anchor the concept in that way.
I know the dyptychs are different widths apart but it's not for presentation, it's because I'll be printing them out A1/0 sheet at a time and it's easier to put them together. Obviously they won't stay like this because I need to pick certain ones.
