Productivity.

I have decided that one key thing about this house is that the desks are big enough, since being here I have only had my laptop on my lap once and that was at ridiculous-o'clock when buying Glastonbury tickets on Sunday.
I love my big desk and it will be even bigger when I get rid of the TV that won't get any aerial signal.

I have a lecture on lighting/location shoots, and a presentation talking about the interesting lighting in this image:

The Invention of Lying.

Went to see it yesterday, was a bit of a disappointment, Ghost Town was funnier, but then this isn't really meant to be funny.
I'm surprised it's not had too much grief yet, it's basically two fingers up at Christianity.

Karl Pilkington is right about it though, it does stop before you get bored, any more of what started towards the end of the movie and I think I would have cried.
Also, Jennifer Garner has the oddest mouth, puts me off.

Stephen Merchant's scene is by far the best. If I could find it, I'd show you, it's so awesome.
Hopefully Cemetery Junction will be better.

Still sad I don't get to see Gervais at Guildhall in any case.

LARD 2009: 27th September.

Love Albert Road Day 2009.
Sorry it took so long to get these up, it feels like I've had so many things to do, in actual fact, this is pretty untrue.

Uni has officially started now that I've had my first lecture (which was awful), I have a small four week project on Documentary Practices to do that will be exhibited in Portsmouth Cathedral, exciting.
Have to buckle down I suppose, the project is mainly about space rather than people etc. So we'll see how I do out of my comfort zone.
I have a barn dance this weekend that I will no doubt be expected to photograph, I might use it for the project. We'll see.

Can't wait until this week is over, was woken up an hour before my alarm this morning, next time I'm not moving. Much easier to sleep.
Hope to get back into the swing of things in the next couple of weeks and actually have proper work up on here.

So wet and rubbish today. Eugh.

This woman is 24 years old.

...glad I'm not her.
Jeremy Kyle is quite a decent source of amusement before 10 o'clock in the morning.

Bad Luck.

Gig has been postponed anyway, feel like such a tit. Should have just taken the job, on the plus side, I have the opportunity to send in my work to 'the student guide', I'll get on this afternoon. Thanks for the email/opportunity so far, Natalie.

Pretty annoyed about the gig in general, with or without the ridiculous thing I did.
Was really looking forward to it, and with him going to straight to Europe, it probably won't happen until November anyway. Eugh..

Photos from Love Albert Road up soon, I got some quite good shots but it was pretty much rubbish, think that it's too big for it's boots, it wasn't even that good last year, don't know why it's won all these awards.

Fresher's Fayre junk.
